My name is Thao Duong. I am a university student living in Melbourne and majoring in English. I have created this blog to document my love for travel and food. The name the blog “A Hungry Heart” is inspired by a line in Lord Alfred Tennyson’s poem “Ulysses”- “For always roaming with a hungry heart”. It really does encapsulate the my insatiable curiosity about new places and their cuisine and people. The focus of my blog would be Tuscany and its delectable food scene.

This is a photo of me exploring the mythical ruins of Ephesus in Turkey. The weather was scathingly hot, but I was living my life there. Staying in Europe for 5 months has definitely opened my eyes about humanity and cultures.
